About

I am an artist, musician, and graphic designer from St. Louis, Missouri born and raised. Based in St. Louis, my work lives at the intersection of visual art, music, and communication. Not as separate lanes, but as parts of one singular living and breathing creative practice.

The gravitational force at the center of everything I create is listening.

Whether I’m painting a portrait, designing for a band or small business, or writing music, I’m interested in people - their stories, their contradictions, their quiet moments, and the things that don’t always translate easily into words. I don’t make work to decorate space or follow trends. I make work to hold meaning, ask questions, and to create connection.

Fine Art & Portrait Work

My fine art practice focuses primarily on portraiture and figurative work. I create paintings that explore identity, memory, and the human experience - often rooted in real people and real stories. Many of my commissions are memorial or tribute pieces, created in close conversation with the people who carry those stories forward.

I approach portrait work with care and intention, aiming to create something that feels honest rather than idealized. My goal is not perfection, but presence with work that feels lived-in, human, and true to the subject.

I recieved my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Truman State University in May of 2021, where I studied studio art with an emphasis in painting and a minor in graphic design. I’ve had the privilege of exhibiting work in juried and group shows, including venues such as the Albrecht-Kemper Museum and the St. Louis History Museum, and serving as a resident artist from 2024–2025 at Artisans In The Loop.

I am currently creating a series of portraits in collaboration with Humans of St. Louis inspired by their community-driven storytelling and the rich culture of the city I call home.

Design & Visual Communication

Alongside my fine art practice, I work as a graphic designer with experience in print advertising, branding, and production. I’ve spent several years designing menus, posters, packaging, and promotional materials - particularly within food, beverage, and music spaces.

I enjoy working with artists, musicians, and small businesses who care about what they’re putting into the world. My design work is thoughtful, detail-driven, print-focused, and grounded in clarity rather than excess. I value function as much as aesthetics, and I’m especially interested in projects where the visual identity supports a larger story.

Music & Creative Practice

Music is not a side project for me- it’s part of how I think and communicate. I’m a bassist and songwriter, working across genres from jazz to punk, and a member of an alternative pop-rock duo based between St. Louis and Los Angeles.

The same instincts that guide my visual work - rhythm, emotion, restraint, and tension - shape how I approach music. I believe in laying a strong foundation, paying attention to detail, and harmonizing with the bigger picture to create meaningful work that leaves a positive impact. Each discipline informs the others - together forming a practice rooted in expression, collaboration, and honesty.

How I Work

No matter the medium, every project begins with a conversation. I take time to understand the story, intention, or purpose behind the work before moving into research, sketches, and refinement. I value clear communication, realistic timelines, and work that feels considered rather than rushed.

I work best with people who are open, thoughtful, and willing to trust the process. I don’t believe in heavy sales tactics or convincing - if the work resonates, that’s enough.

A Shared Space

My work tends to resonate with people who are curious, reflective, and open to being moved: collectors, clients, and listeners who aren’t just looking for something “pretty,” but something that feels true.

If something here connects with you - whether that’s a painting, a song, or an idea - you’re welcome to explore further, reach out, or simply spend some time with my work.
