Commission Terms & Process

Custom artwork and commissions are handled separately from shop orders.

  • All commissioned work follows the terms outlined in my Freelance/Commission Request Sheet.

  • Pricing, deposits, revisions, and timelines are discussed case-by-case via email, text, or phone.

  • Commissioned pieces are non-refundable, except in rare circumstances determined at my discretion.

Commission Terms & Process

Commissions are a collaborative process, created with care and in my unique artistic style.

Below is an overview of how commissions work, including pricing, payment, timelines, and expectations.

Pricing

Watercolor – $0.94 per square inch
Acrylic & Oil – $1.25 per square inch

Final pricing is based on the chosen size and medium.

Payments

A 50% deposit is required to begin your commission.
This deposit becomes non-refundable once proofs are approved and painting has begun.

Invoices may be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or another agreed-upon method.

Process & Timeline

Proofing (1–2 weeks):
You’ll receive rough sketches and color ideas for approval. Once approved, no major changes can be made.

Progress updates are provided every 2 weeks, and I may feature work-in-progress images on social media unless otherwise requested.

Clients are responsible for framing. Recommendations are available upon request.

All works are packaged securely to ensure safe delivery.

Guidelines

To ensure the best result:

  • I stay true to my artistic style.

  • I do not emulate other artists’ styles, create detailed invented backgrounds, or work from copyrighted images without permission.

Sharing background details, color preferences, or meaningful elements helps guide the piece.

Rights & Usage

I retain rights to the artwork for:

  • Portfolio

  • Website galleries

  • Social media

  • Promotional use

I will never sell prints of your commissioned piece without your written permission.

Social Media
