How I Work Across Mediums

Process Matters.
Craft, patience, and a little noise

    Art

I paint custom portraits that explore connection, identity, and the quiet complexity of being human. My work is grounded in real people and real conversations, often shaped by interviews and lived experience. I work primarily in paint, combining realism with intentional abstraction to leave room for emotion, memory, and interpretation.

My current work includes a collaboration with Humans of St. Louis, and I was a Resident Artist at Artisans in the Loop from 2024–2025. I’ve exhibited work in venues such as the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art and the Missouri History Museum, along with other regional exhibitions.

    Music

Music is another way I process and communicate experience. I’m a bassist and songwriter working across genres from jazz to punk.

I’m currently a co-songwriter, bassist, and backing vocalist in Dead Space Derby, an alternative pop-rock duo based between St. Louis and Los Angeles.

    Design

I design print-forward graphics—posters, menus, packaging, album art, and signage—primarily for musicians, small businesses, and community-focused projects. My approach values clarity, craft, and work that feels considered rather than disposable.

Recent projects include print campaigns and the development of a new packaging line for Nari Chai.
